Absolute 0, Ltd., incorporated in 1998 as a Limited Liability Company registered with the State of Ohio.  Absolute 0, Ltd is owned and operated by Jay Goodman with an in-house Support Staff. We also utilize a well-established sub-contractor relationships for added value.

 

What we do?

Absolute 0 is a financially stable operation with long-term banking relationships with PNC Bank. We have either met or exceeded profit goals each year since our inception. Located in Medina, Ohio a southwest suburb of Cleveland.

 

We are not your stereotypical “Computer Guys”

Have you ever encountered the information technology person – or “computer guy” as we like to refer to them – that has the stereotype of being brilliant with very little personal skills? If there is ever a problem — it’s yours not theirs. They use five syllable words to remind you how much smarter they are then you and how you don’t need to like them, but you DO need them.

 

Philosophy

Our company philosophy can be summed up like this: do the best job we can. If something goes wrong,  figure out the problem as quickly as possible and fix it . Be  honest and accountable. Don’t talk down to people — talk TO them. Computers and technology are frustrating, especially when you put your faith in another. People and companies are not defined by good times, but by how they respond to crisis or negativity. If you take notice, we do not have a huge client list, and further, most of the clients that we work with have been clients for a while. This is because we believe in order to take care of a client you cannot spread yourself to thin. In order to gain a person’s trust, you have to be forthright – no matter good or bad.  We will not finger point. If we are working with a third-party, we will work with them – not against them towards a solution. If we make a mistake – we will tell you we make a mistake.  Honesty, trust and accountability are what we demand of ourselves and anyone we work with. So when you engage with Absolute 0 as your internet development provider, know that we are not the ” typical computer” people.

 

About Jay Goodman

Jay Goodman is an entrepreneurial, civic minded professional driven by his own desire to be a better person then the day before. As he enters his 19th year as President and CEO, Mr. Goodman has enjoyed peaks and sustained valley’s that come with owning a business. He has managed to navigate through difficult times and continues to reinvent not only the company but himself by constantly striving to stay on top of his craft with education and his strong belief that there is “always a way” to succeed. With a reputation of “getting things done”, Mr. Goodman’s work has been instrumental in coordinating, conceptualizing, wiring and producing integral web-based applications for companies and organizations across the United States. A salesman- turned-programmer, he has a unique perspective of both technology and technical aspects of a project which result in better communication which leads to successful projects.

Mr. Goodman is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Medina County, an active member of the Medina Chamber of Commerce since 1999 and served as a member of the Medina Jaycees. He has sat on numerous committees for both chamber and leadership and has been recognized for his dedication to the local business community. Mr.Goodman is also an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy.

Outside of work, Jay is a dedicated husband to Jeanette and father of 2 daughters, Abbie and Arryn and son, Joe. He enjoys playing and coaching soccer, table tennis, competitive chess and woodworking. He is also an accomplished musician, working and performing in the entertainment industry for over 20 years as the lead singer of local band, “Skinny Moo”.
